Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton just can’t stay out of trouble. Although she has committed many crimes, she still has not ended up in prison. Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheik Hasina revealed that Clinton pressured to aid a donor to her husband’s foundation to be reinstated as chairman of Grameen Bank, Bangladesh’s most famous microcredit bank. While Clinton was serving as a Secretary of State, she personally called Hasina and demanded that Dr. Muhammed Yunus, a 2006 Nobel Prize winner, be restored as chairman of the bank. Clinton also threatened Hasina’s son Sajeeb Wazed who lives in the United States. However, Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley will start an investigation into all this in order to put Clinton behind bars.

Hillary Clinton has proven to be one of the most corrupt politicians that this country has had the displeasure of having. Despite her repeated violations of federal law however, she has remained unprosecuted and out of jail; it certainly pays to have the full backing of the Deep State and their cronies. But now new evidence of yet another scandal has emerged, and this time this one might just stick.
In the following video, Right Wing News looks at reports that Clinton used government resources to place diplomatic pressure on Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheik Hasina and her son, Sajeeb Wazed to drop a corruption investigation. The investigation was into Clinton ally Muhammad Yunus, who is alleged to have embezzled almost $100 million from Grameen Bank. Clinton is alleged to have threatened to sic the IRS on Wazed, who lives in the US, if the investigation was not dropped. Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley is opening the official inquiry into all this; will Clinton finally be put behind bars?
During the 2016 presidential campaign Hillary Clinton couldn’t seem to keep herself out of the center of a federal investigation for much longer than a couple of weeks, and now she’s in trouble once again.
Yesterday, Iowa Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley has started an investigation into whether Hillary acted to prevent a Bangladeshi probe into Clinton Foundation donor Muhammad Yunus.
The Iowa Republican’s effort is the first new official inquiry of Clinton since her unexpected loss in the 2016 presidential election to President Donald Trump. Trump’s supporters often chanted “lock her up” during his many boisterous campaign rallies.
But upon assuming the presidency, Trump and leaders of the Republican-majority Congress displayed little appetite for reopening investigations of Clinton’s tenure as the chief U.S. diplomat and multiple persistent allegations of “pay-to-play” corruption involving the Clinton Foundation. Until now.
The Daily Caller News Foundation (TheDCNF) Investigative Group exclusively reported in May that Clinton sent top U.S. diplomats to pressure Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheik Hasina and her son Sajeeb Wazed in an effort to kill that country’s corruption investigation of Yunus and Grameen Bank. Yunus was then managing director of the state-owned Bangladesh bank.
In a June 1, 2017, letter to Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Grassley repeated TheDCNF charge that Clinton threatened Wazed with an IRS tax audit if his mother did not back away from the corruption probe. Wazed has lived in the U.S. for 17 years.
“If the Secretary of State used her position to intervene in an independent investigation by a sovereign government simply because of a personal and financial relationship stemming from the Clinton Foundation rather than the legitimate foreign policy interests of the United States, then that would be unacceptable,” Grassley told Tillerson.
“Co-mingling her official position as Secretary of State with her family foundation would be similarly inappropriate. It is vital to determine whether the State Department had any role in the threat of an IRS audit against the son of the Prime Minister in retaliation for this investigation,” Grassley continued.
Hillary’s aid to Yunis came in the form of 18 grants, contracts, and loans awarded to two American-based foundations he owns, the Grameen Foundation USA, and Grameen America.
Yunus was formally the director of the state owned Grameen Bank, but lost that position after the Bangladeshi government reviewed his “financial mismanagement” at the bank.
A Norwegian documentary charging Yunis with personally diverting away $100 million in funds intended for Grameen Bank to his personal organizations prompted the government’s review of his conduct. He eventually returned the money, and was forced to resign from the position.
Grassley noted in a letter to Rex Tillerson that Wazed recounted for Senate investigators “two conversations with then-Deputy Chief of Mission to Bangladesh Jon Danilowicz during which Danilowicz mentioned that Wazed may be audited by the IRS if he failed to use his influence to get his mother to drop the investigation into Yunus.”
Grassley added new details stating, “Furthermore, he was told by these same officials that Yunus was communicating with Secretary Clinton and her staff for assistance and, in turn, Secretary Clinton’s staff put pressure on the Embassy in Bangladesh to intercede on Yunus’ behalf.”
Hillary Clinton is back in the public eye – and all eyes sure are on her now. By the end of this all, she may be hoping she stayed in the woods.
Hillary Clinton has committed many crimes that affected the United States and she did not take responsibility for any of it. It’s time for her to face prison time. Hopefully, Grassley’s investigation can put her behind bars.
