Condoleezza Rice is all elegance and class. The first African-America women Secretary of State is widely respected all over the world. With both liberals and conservatives.
Her word carries a lot of weight. So, when she backed Jeff Sessions everyone took notice.
According to Politico, Rice wrote in a letter to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) backing Sessions.
“Sessions has worked to rectify the prejudice and injustice against the descendants of slaves in Alabama and was a key force behind the effort to award civil rights leader Rosa Parks the Congressional Gold Medal.
She then called Sessions a “friend” and someone she “greatly” admired.
“He is a man who is committed to justice and knows that law and order are necessary to guarantee freedom and liberty”
“I know that Sen. Sessions will uphold the laws of our great country and will work to ensure that every person here in the United States is given the voice that is deserved.”
Well said. Tomorrow is the last day of the hearings, todays were interrupted a few times by protesters.
But with the majority in the Senate, Trump should get his man.
